What You’ll Master in 2 Hours
During this intensive safety block, you will master life-threatening bleeding protocols by learning to use a tourniquet and apply direct pressure effectively. You will also cover allergic reactions to master the correct way to handle an epinephrine auto-injector safely. Our instructors guide you through medical emergencies so you can quickly recognize signs of heart attack, stroke, and shock. For physical trauma, you will learn comprehensive injury management to respond to broken bones, sprains, and internal injuries. Finally, we cover environmental safety to ensure you know how to treat burns, heatstroke, and poisoning.
Course Logistics
The standard investment for this course is $80.00 when you register and pay at least 24 hours in advance. An official AHA Student Manual is mandatory for all participants by order of the American Heart Association. Classes are held daily at our flagship Marietta facility. Weekday sessions are available at our Alpharetta and Norcross offices, while dedicated weekly training days are hosted at our metropolitan centers in Birmingham, Montgomery, and Chattanooga.
